I love the hay as much as my guineas do! No more stuffing hay from a big bag into a messy rack multiple times a day! This thing lasts around two weeks! Just tie it on, open the perforated sections, and the guineas know what to do! I highly recommend it- and because the hay is so tightly packed and the openings are small, you can’t event smell the hay when you’re in the room!

I like the convenience. I am still not sure if financially it’s better than buying 80lbs of oxbow hay in the bag. The pigs still waste their hay. I guess it’s because they pick through what they like.

Really love the hay. It looks and smells fresh. Not dusty at all. Perfect for my allergies I love the innovative packaging unfortunately one of my little boys is well….lazy…very lazy. The little guy likes to lie down while he eats level lazy. He found the level of effort just too much. To be fair he also didn’t much care for a hay bag either preferring to eat the pieces that fell out So I’ve just been opening the bags from one end and filling a dish with hay. Lazy boy gets to sit in the dish and enjoy the high quality guineadad hay that way I wish there was an option for a loser packed box or something for those piggies who don’t like the feeder. The hay is good quality so much better than anything from the pet store

My daughter has 3 pigs and I am caring for them since she has gone to college. I read the comments regarding allergies and using the orchard hay boxes. I am highly allergic to the Timothy hay and was diagnosed for with asthma for the first time since it’s been in our house 😳. The hay pods are great! The pigs love to chew them and have had no trouble transitioning to orchard hay. Less dust helps when I clean their cage. Far less reaction to the orchard hay. So. Much. Better!! Will continue to buy the orchard hay pods!!
My girls live Guinea Dad hay! ( And Guinea Dad liners too!🐹😊) It makes cleaning so much easier. My one girl is very sensitive to hay dust so the feeders really help!
We switched to Orchard Hay to relieve my husband's allergies (thankfully, the allergist said he wasn't allergic to the actual piggies!), so I thought I'd try the hay bar. I love seeing the piggies climb up to eat off the top and poke their heads in the bottom, surrounded by hay-filled bliss.

This is “Baby Face”. He loves the hay! I was concerned he wouldn’t make it because he refused to eat including vitamin C. Vet couldn’t find anything wrong. Guinea dad personnel encouraged me to give the little fella a chance and keep trying which I did and am so glad. He has so much personality and popcorns ! I love him so much and am thankful y’all took the time to listen and encourage me! Thanks! I also use the Guinea dad pads which he loves.

I think it's a little too big. The orchard hay is great, but my piggy doesn't (and shouldn't) eat as much of it as the timothy hay. I can switch between the two, but then I have to figure out where to store the open one that is not in use. If it came in a smaller size, like 1/2-3/4 as big as the Timothy hay, that'd be ideal.

I see them eating it but they aren’t eating a lot of it. They prefer their oxbow orchard grass for some reason.

My piggies lovevthe hay bar. They pull pieces out and chomp them down. When there is room in the bag they love jumping inside for a yummy snack.

I cannot imagine a better run company than Guinea Dad!! From day one for us, we have found the best hay !! It has very little dust and we have tried both the timothy and the orchard. The treats are the best and the PADS are super wonderful!!! They keep the cage clean and the surface is soft for my girl's feet! I just ordered one of their cages and can't wait to get it! So....so far the hay, the treats, the toys, the Pads are the best! And the customer service is personalized and timely! So, gosh, that's all I can say about Guinea Dads..... Just try it!

We have two elderly girls who are still doing really well and love to eat a hole for themselves, then settle down into the bag to just…eat. If we ever look into their habitat and can’t see them right away, they are probably nested into the hay. We get the orchard blend so allergies aren’t as bad from the Timothy hay, and while I wish I could use the automated delivery, (I’m just bad at estimating and end up with a backlog…always) the delivery is fast enough that when we put the last package in the cage, we get a fresh delivery before they are even halfway done. Thanks for improving the packaging, too. The girls seem to get more out of the paper packaging than the previous cardboard!

We have 2 rescue girls piggies they weren't eating enough of the timothy hay but when we changed to the orchard hay bar immediately they loved it and starting eating and growing well they love to play in ti, they enjoy eating away tunnels in it and chewing on it. We couldn't be happier no more mess to change the hay no more loose hay all over the floor no more allergies almost no waste and no dusty piggies. I wish I knew about this 9 years ago when we had our 2 boy piggies.
Love love love these hay boxes. So much less mess in the cage and the hay stays nice and clean for the piggies. Also, I love the orchard hay option as I am allergic to Timothy hay.
The reason I gave it 4 stars is I can't figure out how to hand the bag correctly. I had to use the clips from the boxes to hold it on my fence as you can see in the video. There should be a way to have 4 strings to be able to attach to the sides. I got these bags since it comes with 5 bags and I am limited on funds right now. I like the boxes better since they are easier to use and attach.
